One day & night in an overwater bungalow

Who’s never dreamt of spending a night in an overwater bungalow?

Frédéric and I started 2017 in style by staying in one of these bungalows at the Sofitel in Moo’rea in French Polynesia.

3 P.M – CHECK-IN

The bungalow was spacious with at its center a giant bed with two flowers necklaces shaped in hearts displayed on it. The impressive wooden headboard was also a furniture which hosted the coffee machine and tasteful vases on its opposite site.

After the quick room toor, we sprung right away into the clear blue water.

6 P.M – SUNSET AND DINNER ON THE BEACH

8 A.M – BATHING WITH THE FISHES

What an incredible memory to wake up, have a coffee looking at this view and then swim with so many diverse and colorful fishes.

10 A.M – SHOOTING AMAZING VIEWS WITH THE DRONE

AFTERNOON – ROADTRIP AROUND THE ISLAND

Yes, all good things come to an end: at noon, time to checkout.

Moo’rea is an amazing island which has it all: indigo lagoon, vegatation, mounts etc… And you can drive all around it in only a couple of hours.

For lunch we stopped by Moorea Beach Café and then drove on to the belvedere viewpoint overlooking Cook and Opunohu Bays.
